On March 25, 2021, the mid-term seminar on the Jinrongjie community governance project was held at Leo KoGuan Building. IPG Director and project leader Jirong Yan, Deputy Director Jie Yan and researchers including Yu Zeng, Gangsheng Zhang and some others attended the seminar.

At the seminar, the progress of the project was reviewed, and based on the previous investigation and multiple talks with Jinrongjie street administration office, two core topics were determined for the project, i.e. “Party Playing a Leading Role” and “Public Complaints Processed without Delay”.

It was also recommended that the project team should be transformed into a think tank and the Jinrongjie community work group should be established, the tasks of which might include: 1. to provide policy consultation and activity suggestions tailored for the specific needs of the Jinrongjie community; 2. to provide human resources; 3. to set up different key topics at each stage based on the research plan and form special research reports and academic papers; 4. to complete the overall research report and planning recommendation report.
