The first IPG Management Committee Meeting of this year was held at Leo KoGuan Building on March 26, 2021. Director Jirong Yan, Deputy Directors Haiyan Li, Jie Yan and Huang Huang along with some administrative staff attended the meeting.

The meeting first reviewed and approved 14 general projects of the first quarter in 2021. In order to better support the research work of the School of Government, the committee decided that the application for general projects could be submitted at any time with no deadlines.

Then, they discussed the implementation plan of IPG key projects, which would be aimed to support team research and to build and cultivate high-quality academic teams. Key research areas were identified as well, including national governance, social governance and digital governance, etc.

In addition, the recipients of 2020 IPG research achievement awards were determined at the meeting. The meeting also discussed the 2021 plan including employing new researchers and holding academic lectures and so on.
